Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Gilbert, Arizona. It was founded by Jonathan Buford and Patrick Ware in 2013. The name "Arizona Wilderness" was chosen to reflect the founders' love for the Arizona landscape and their commitment to creating a sustainable, environmentally friendly business.

Buford and Ware started their brewing journey as homebrewers, experimenting with different recipes and techniques in their own kitchens. They decided to turn their passion into a business and began planning for Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company in 2010.

After three years of planning and preparation, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company opened its doors on September 3, 2013. The brewery quickly gained recognition for its innovative and high-quality beers. In 2013, just a few months after opening, it was named the "World's Best New Brewery" by RateBeer, a global beer review site.
