Bissell Brothers Brewing is a renowned brewery based in Portland, Maine, United States. It was founded by brothers Peter and Noah Bissell in December 2013. The Bissell brothers, originally from Milo, Maine, had a passion for craft beer and decided to turn their hobby into a business.

The brewery's first location was a small, 1,000 square-foot space in Portland's East Bayside neighborhood. The first beer they brewed was The Substance Ale, which quickly gained popularity and helped establish the brewery's reputation for producing high-quality, hop-forward beers.

In 2016, due to increasing demand, Bissell Brothers Brewing moved to a larger facility at Thompson's Point in Portland. This new location allowed them to increase their production capacity and also provided space for a larger tasting room.
