Bluegrass Brewing Co. – Brewpub, also known as BBC, is a well-known brewery located in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It was founded in 1993 by Pat Hagan, making it one of the oldest craft breweries in the state of Kentucky.
The brewery initially started in St. Matthews, a suburb of Louisville, and eventually expanded to three locations in the city. The original location in St. Matthews was closed in 2018, but the other two locations continue to operate.
Bluegrass Brewing Co. has been recognized for its quality beers and has won several awards over the years. For instance, its Dark Star Porter won a bronze medal at the 2001 Great American Beer Festival, and its Baltic Porter won a gold medal at the same festival in 2010.
