π Short History:
Coachella Valley Brewing Co (CVB) is a craft brewery located in Thousand Palms, California. It was founded in August 2013 by Chris Anderson, a former brewer at Babe's Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse in Rancho Mirage. The brewery was established with a focus on using local, sustainable produce in their beers.
CVB has been known for its innovative approach to brewing, often incorporating unique ingredients such as dates, citrus, peppers, and even locally grown wild yeast in their beers. This approach has resulted in a diverse range of beer styles, from traditional IPAs and stouts to more experimental brews.
In 2014, just a year after its establishment, CVB won two awards at the Los Angeles International Beer Competition. Their Belgian-style Dubbel Date beer won a gold medal, and their Monument on Fire beer, a smoked beer brewed with dates and peppers, won a silver medal.
In 2015, CVB expanded its distribution to include the Los Angeles and San Diego markets. The brewery has continued to grow and innovate, maintaining its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing.
As of now, Coachella Valley Brewing Co continues to operate in Thousand Palms, producing a wide range of craft beers and contributing to the vibrant craft beer scene in Southern California.
