The story of DESTIHL Brewery began in 2007 with the opening of a brewpub in Normal. The brewpub was successful, and in 2011, the company decided to expand its operations by opening a production brewery. This allowed DESTIHL to distribute its beers to a wider market.
In 2013, DESTIHL Brewery began canning its beers, which further expanded its distribution capabilities. The brewery became known for its innovative beers, particularly its sour beers. The Wild Sour Series, which includes beers like Here Gose Nothin’ and Flanders Red, became some of the brewery's most popular offerings.
In 2017, DESTIHL Brewery opened a new, 47,000 square foot production facility in Normal. This state-of-the-art brewery allowed the company to significantly increase its production capacity and expand its distribution even further.
