π Short History:
District Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. It was founded in 2013 by Jay Cooke and his business partner, Harvey Mazinke. The brewery was initially set up in a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in the Warehouse District of Regina, which is where the name "District Brewing" comes from.
The brewery started with a focus on German-style beers, with their first beer being the German Pilsner, Muskoka. This was followed by other beers like the German Blonde Ale, Festbier, and the German Dunkel. The brewery prides itself on using traditional German brewing methods and the finest ingredients to produce their beers.
In 2017, District Brewing Company expanded its operations by moving to a larger 10,000-square-foot facility in the same Warehouse District. This allowed them to increase their production capacity and expand their product line.
As of now, District Brewing Company continues to operate in Regina, producing a variety of craft beers and contributing to the local economy.
