Imminent Brewing is a craft brewery located in Northfield, Minnesota, United States. It was founded by a group of friends – Tonja and Derek Johnson, and Randy and Laura Meyers. The idea of starting a brewery came to them during a camping trip in 2012. After years of planning, they officially opened the doors of Imminent Brewing on June 17, 2017.
The name "Imminent" was chosen to reflect the founders' belief that good things are about to happen. The brewery is located in a former National Guard Armory building, which was renovated to house the brewing equipment and taproom. The founders have a strong commitment to sustainability, and they have made efforts to incorporate sustainable practices into their operations.
Imminent Brewing produces a variety of beer styles, including ales, IPAs, stouts, and lagers. They also host events and live music performances in their taproom. The brewery has become a popular gathering place in the Northfield community.
