La Quinta Brewing Co. is a craft brewery located in Palm Desert, California. It was founded in 2013 by Scott Stokes, Derek Lloyd, and Ryan Pearson, who wanted to bring a local craft beer scene to the Coachella Valley.
The brewery started with a 5,000 square foot facility in Palm Desert, where they brewed their first batch of beer, an IPA called Sand Storm. The success of their initial beers led to the opening of a taproom in the same location, where they could serve their beers directly to the public.
In 2015, La Quinta Brewing Co. expanded by opening a second taproom in Old Town La Quinta. This allowed them to reach a larger audience and further establish their presence in the local beer scene.
The brewery has won several awards for their beers, including a bronze medal at the 2016 World Beer Cup for their Poolside Blonde and a gold medal at the 2018 Los Angeles International Beer Competition for their Indian Canyon IPA.
La Quinta Brewing Co. continues to operate and produce a variety of craft beers, including IPAs, stouts, and blondes. They distribute their beers throughout Southern California.
