π Short History:
Long Live Beerworks is a microbrewery located in Providence, Rhode Island. It was founded by brewer Armando DeDona, who had been homebrewing for over a decade before deciding to open his own brewery.
The brewery officially opened its doors on January 9, 2016, making it the first production brewery to open in Providence in over a century. It started in a small 1,000 square foot space on West Fountain Street, with a 3-barrel brewing system. The brewery quickly gained a reputation for its hop-forward ales, stouts, and porters.
In 2019, Long Live Beerworks moved to a larger location on 40R Sprague Street, allowing them to increase their brewing capacity and add a canning line. The new location also features a larger taproom and an outdoor beer garden.
As of 2021, Long Live Beerworks continues to operate from this location, serving a variety of craft beers to the local community and beyond.
