π Short History:
Lucette Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Menomonie, Wisconsin, USA. It was founded in 2010 by Tim Schletty and Mike Wilson, who named the brewery after Paul Bunyan's sweetheart, Lucette, from American folklore.
The brewery started with a 15-barrel brewhouse and initially focused on distributing draft beer to local bars and restaurants. They began with three flagship beers: Farmer's Daughter, a blonde ale; Ride Again, an American Pale Ale; and Slow Hand, an American Stout.
In 2012, Lucette Brewing Company expanded its operations to include canning, making their beers more widely available to the public. They were one of the first breweries in Wisconsin to use a mobile canning line.
In 2015, the brewery opened a wood-fired pizza restaurant called "The Eatery" on its premises, further expanding its offerings.
Lucette Brewing Company is known for its commitment to sustainability. They use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and have implemented energy-saving practices in their brewing process.
As of now, Lucette Brewing Company continues to operate in Menomonie, producing a variety of craft beers and serving food at The Eatery. They have become a staple of the local community and have contributed to the growth of the craft beer industry in Wisconsin.
