The brewery was originally established in 2014 as a brewpub operating out of a family-owned restaurant, CD Roma Restaurant and Brew Pub. The founders, Matthew Dahm and his wife, were inspired by their travels and experiences with different cultures and flavors, which they wanted to incorporate into their own unique brews.
In 2016, Mastry's Brewing Co. made a significant move to become a standalone brewery, making it the first craft brewery on St. Pete Beach. They relocated to a new location, a building that was originally a 1970s garage, and transformed it into a modern and inviting brewery and tasting room.
