Novo Brazil Brewing Co. is a craft brewery that was established in Chula Vista, California, in 2015. The founders of the brewery are Brazilian, and they aimed to bring the tropical and unique flavors of Brazil to the American craft beer scene.
The brewery quickly gained recognition for its quality brews. In 2016, just a year after its establishment, Novo Brazil won two bronze medals at the World Beer Cup, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding brewers and their beers. The two beers that won the awards were their "Corvo Negro" in the British-Style Imperial Stout category and "Cookie Muncher" in the Chocolate Beer category.
In 2019, Novo Brazil Brewing Co. expanded its operations by opening a second location in Otay Ranch Town Center, Chula Vista. The new location, named Novo Brazil Brewing SDBW, features a taproom and a restaurant.
As of the present day, Novo Brazil Brewing Co. continues to produce a wide range of beers, including IPAs, stouts, and lagers, many of which incorporate Brazilian ingredients and flavors.
