Overshores Brewing Co. is a brewery located in East Haven, Connecticut, United States. It was founded by Christian Amport in 2010. The brewery is known for its focus on Belgian-style beers, which are typically characterized by a high level of carbonation, fruity and spicy flavors, and a strong alcohol content.
Overshores Brewing Co. was the first brewery in Connecticut to focus exclusively on Belgian-style beers. The brewery's name, "Overshores," is a reference to the overseas origins of the Belgian beer styles that they specialize in.
In 2014, Overshores Brewing Co. opened its doors to the public with a 15-barrel brewhouse. The brewery initially offered four core beers: the Overshores Blanc de Blanche, Overshores Simpel, Overshores Tripel Brun, and Overshores Belle Fermiere Saison.
In 2017, Overshores Brewing Co. partnered with another Connecticut brewery, Armada Brewing, to create a shared brewing space called "The Beeracks." This space is home to several small Connecticut breweries and serves as a collaborative brewing and tasting space.
As of 2021, Overshores Brewing Co. continues to operate out of The Beeracks in East Haven, producing a variety of Belgian-style beers and hosting regular tasting events.
