π Short History:
Paladin Brewing is a craft brewery located in Austintown, Ohio, United States. It was founded by John and Abby Chandler in 2015. The name "Paladin" was inspired by the couple's love for fantasy and medieval themes. The term "Paladin" refers to a knight renowned for heroism and chivalry.
John Chandler, the founder, had been homebrewing for over 20 years before he decided to open Paladin Brewing. He started homebrewing in 1994 and won several awards for his beers at local and national competitions. This success and passion for brewing led him to pursue his dream of opening his own brewery.
The brewery started with a 10-barrel system and four fermenters, allowing them to produce a variety of beers. The initial beer offerings included Sir Kenneth, an American Blonde Ale, Mosaic Maiden, an American Pale Ale, and Paladin Porter, a robust porter.
Paladin Brewing is known for its community involvement and commitment to giving back. They have hosted several events and fundraisers to support local charities and causes.
As of the present, Paladin Brewing continues to operate in Austintown, offering a variety of craft beers to locals and visitors alike.
