Shoe Tree Brewing Co. is a family-owned craft brewery located in Carson City, Nevada. It was founded by brothers Paul and Jeff Young in 2017. The name "Shoe Tree" was inspired by a local landmark, a cottonwood tree adorned with hundreds of pairs of shoes, which was unfortunately cut down in 2010.
The Young brothers had a passion for homebrewing and decided to turn their hobby into a business. They started with a 3-barrel system, but due to the popularity of their brews, they quickly upgraded to a 10-barrel system.
Shoe Tree Brewing Co. is known for its wide variety of beers, including IPAs, stouts, and sours. They have won several awards for their brews, including a silver medal at the 2018 Best of Craft Beer Awards for their "Super Schwarz" black lager.
