π Short History:
Taxman Brewing Co. is a Belgian-inspired brewery located in Bargersville, Indiana, United States. The brewery was founded by Nathan Huelsebusch and Colin McCloy, who were both tax consultants. The idea for the brewery was conceived in 2010 when Huelsebusch was living in Belgium and developed a passion for Belgian-style beers.
After returning to the United States, Huelsebusch and McCloy decided to start their own brewery. They spent several years planning and developing their business model, and in 2014, Taxman Brewing Co. officially opened its doors. The name "Taxman" was chosen as a nod to the founders' backgrounds in tax consulting.
The brewery is known for its Belgian-style ales and farm-to-table food. In addition to its original location in Bargersville, Taxman Brewing Co. has expanded to include locations in Fortville and downtown Indianapolis.
Taxman Brewing Co. has won several awards for its beers, including a gold medal at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival for their Deduction Dubbel. The brewery is also committed to sustainability and sources many of its ingredients locally.
As of now, Taxman Brewing Co. continues to operate and produce a variety of Belgian-inspired beers, with a focus on quality and authenticity.
