📜 Short History:
The Bronx Brewery is a craft brewery located in the South Bronx, New York City. It was founded by Chris Gallant and Damian Brown in 2011. The founders aimed to bring brewing back to the Bronx, an area that had a rich brewing history in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The brewery initially started by producing one style of beer, the Bronx Pale Ale, which was contract brewed in Wisconsin. The founders focused on perfecting this one style before expanding their range. In 2013, they introduced the Bronx Rye Pale Ale and the Bronx Belgian Pale Ale.
In 2014, The Bronx Brewery opened its own physical brewing facility in the Port Morris section of the South Bronx. This allowed them to have full control over their brewing process and expand their beer offerings. The facility includes a tasting room, which opened to the public in 2015, and a backyard, which opened in 2016.
The Bronx Brewery has since expanded its range to include a variety of seasonal and limited edition beers. They have also launched the "No Resolutions" IPA, a year-round beer, and the "Up and Comers" series, which showcases experimental and innovative brews.
The brewery is committed to its community, and has been involved in various local initiatives. For example, they have partnered with local businesses for special events and collaborations, and have hosted community events at their brewery.
As of now, The Bronx Brewery's beers are distributed in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
