π Short History:
Wabasha Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. The brewery was founded in 2013 by a group of friends who were passionate about craft beer. They named the brewery after the street on which it is located, Wabasha Street, which is one of the oldest streets in Saint Paul.
The brewery started its operations in a 3,000-square-foot space with a 10-barrel brewing system. They initially offered four types of beer, including an IPA, a stout, a cream ale, and a red ale. Over the years, they have expanded their beer offerings and have become known for their Cave Stout, which is a nod to the sandstone caves that run beneath the West Side of Saint Paul.
The brewery has faced some challenges over the years. In 2016, they had to change their original logo due to a trademark dispute with another brewery. Despite these challenges, Wabasha Brewing Company has continued to grow and serve the local community.
As of 2021, the brewery is still in operation and continues to produce a variety of craft beers. They also host events and offer a taproom for customers to enjoy their beers on-site.
