Weathered Souls Brewing Co. is a craft brewery based in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 2016 by Marcus Baskerville and Mike Holt. The brewery is known for its wide range of beer styles, with a particular emphasis on stouts and IPAs.
Marcus Baskerville, the head brewer, is particularly notable as one of the few African-American head brewers in the United States. In 2020, he initiated the Black is Beautiful beer project, a collaborative effort among breweries to raise awareness about the injustices that people of color face daily. The initiative has been joined by over 1,000 breweries from all 50 U.S. states and 20 countries worldwide.
