West O Beer is a craft brewery located in West Okoboji, Iowa, United States. The brewery was founded by Matthew and Michaela Matthiesen in 2013. The brewery's name, West O Beer, is derived from its location in West Okoboji.

West O Beer started with a 15-barrel brewhouse and two 30-barrel fermenters. The brewery initially focused on producing traditional, well-balanced beers, with their flagship beers being West O CocO Stout and West O Honey Blossom Saison.

In 2014, just a year after its establishment, West O Beer won two gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival, one of the most prestigious beer competitions in the United States. The awards were for their West O CocO Stout and West O Smoked Red Ale.

In 2015, the brewery expanded its production capacity by adding a 60-barrel fermenter and a 60-barrel brite tank. This allowed West O Beer to increase its distribution to more locations in Iowa and beyond.
